My daughter celebrated her 11th birthday recently by having her friends over for a sleepover. Yes! It was a unicorn party! Unicorn cake, chocolate covered Oreos, cake pops, and meringues were some of the desserts. The kids painted their own unicorns and also played a few fun games like pin the horn on the unicorn. Bridal Shower – Pink and Gold

I recently had the pleasure of working on a dessert table for a bridal shower. I made cookies, cake pops, pretzels dipped in chocolate, chocolate cupcakes filled with toasted marshmallows and a malt chocolate frosting, red velvet cupcakes and mini desserts like toasted panna cottas with a rich, dark chocolate sauce and chocolate pots de creme. Valentine Cookies

Valentine Cookies I would like to wish all my readers a very Happy Valentine’s Day. I have been so excited to make Valentine cookies, I bought tons of stickers, stamps, decorative wrapping paper as sources of inspiration but ended up making these simple marbled hearts. Peach and Blueberry crumbles- serves 5 to 6 This wonderful recipe comes from Ina garten’s ‘Barefoot Contessa’ at home. My husband gifted me this book on this mother’s day. Red Velvet Cupcakes With Cream Cheese Icing
