Fresh Blueberry Sauce

Fresh Blueberry Sauce – Recipe by Ina Garten. Makes 2 cups. The one thing that we never run out of in my home is dessert. I truly enjoy baking and it is a real stress buster for me. You can always find lemon cake, brownies or a pound cake and a container full of fresh blueberry or raspberry sauce in my freezer. It makes a great hostess gift. I love serving it with vanilla ice-cream, waffles, creme fraiche, yogurt or even on a slice of lemon cake. So easy to make and absolutely amazing to taste. We usually kick start our Sundays with a simple yet filling breakfast comprised of freshly squeezed orange juice, cold cuts, pancakes or warm, crisp waffles . . . CLICK TO READ MORE

Peach and Blueberry crumbles- serves 5 to 6 This wonderful recipe comes from Ina garten’s ‘Barefoot Contessa’ at home. My husband gifted me this book on this mother’s day. Though I have made this recipe many times before.. been borrowing the book from the library, it feels good to own it. This is one of the best fruit desserts I have had. What I love about this dessert is that it is light, refreshing and so YUM. Made with fresh, juicy peaches and sweet blueberries with a hint of lemon in there. Served warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, I am in HEAVEN. INGREDIENTS: For the fruit: 2 pounds firm, ripe peaches (6 to 8 peaches) 2 teaspoons grated lemon . . . CLICK TO READ MORE
